Waqf Thareed: The Power of Collective Compassion

Since early 2023 Prince Hashim has been involved in supporting a Jordanian charitable endowment called Thareed. It has been generously supported by His Majesty King Abdullah II as well as many members of the Jordanian business community as well as other notable institution including the Jordanian Armed Forces, which aims at providing daily meals no questions asked, starting in a location in central Amman close to the Hussaini Mosque.

At its core, Waqf Thareed is driven by a simple yet powerful vision: to provide daily meals to those in need, no questions asked. This initiative represents a heartfelt commitment to addressing food insecurity and alleviating hunger within the community.
