His Majesty’s Chief Royal Councilor
Prince Hashim accepted the appointment as His Majesty’s Chief Royal Councilor, as per the Royal Decree issued on January 12, 2017, a role he fulfilled until September 2020. Following this, he assumed leadership responsibilities as the head of "The Royal Committee for the Administration and Building of Islamic Shrines" from October 30, 2017, until October 3, 2021.
His Royal Highness Prince Hashim has been sworn in as Regent on several occasions and accompanied King Abdullah II on several official functions.
